Our board is comprised of volunteers dedicated to the oversight and delivery of services that are Christian in focus and professional in implementation.

Robert J. Baird, M.Div. Ph.D. - Bob has served as both a pastor and clinical psychologist. His doctoral work focused on Protestant clergy and their use of internet pornography and othere cyber sexual behavior. He is the co-author of a soon to be released book, Behind Closed Doors: Christians, Pornography, and the Sins of Cyberspace (a faith-based practical guide for renewal and restoration).

Arthur E. Jongsma Jr., Ph.D. - Art is a fully licensed psychologist who was in private practice for 25 years and is currently Executive Director of Life Guidance services in Grand Rapids, MI. He is an author and series editor of more than 60 PracticePlanner books that assist mental health practitioners in formulating treatment plans.

James P.Motiff, Ph.D. - Jim is a Professor Emeritus of Psychology at Hope College, Holland, MI, teaching there for over 37 years. A fully licensed psychologist in private practice, his specialties include behavioral medicine, health and wellness, stress and pain management, psychotherapy, and consulting. He is past chairperson of the Hope Psychology Department and President of the Biofeedback Society of Michigan.

Lenora Ridder, B.A. - Lenora has served professionally as the Minister of Education at the Crystal Cathedral, as a church consultant and as a counselor to clergy spouses. Serving alongside her late husband, “Bud”, who was a pastor and seminary president, Lenora has been a church elder and pioneered work in religious education for persons with disabilities.

Don L. VanOstenberg, Ph.D. - Don has 30 years of experience as a clinical psychologist and is the founder of Human Resource Associates in Grand Rapids, MI. He has been employed as both a congregational and denominational consultant in personnel selection, organization and management questions. Don also consults with attorneys on forensic issues.

David P. Breen, M.Div., D.Min. - Dave has served as pastor of four different churches and as a denominational executive during 30 years of ministry. Churches in Conflict, his doctoral project, focuses on the organizational conflict management styles of pastors and other church leaders. He has endured conflict within the organized church and is determined to reach out to those who are hurting, confused, have compromised their values, or feel lost.
